Job summary

Miniat LLC in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Sanitation Laborer for 3rd shift to maintain sanitary equipment and work areas. Duties include high-temperature cleaning, chemical handling, and adherence to GMP/HACCP standards.

Requirements include English speaking preferred, ability to work nights, and willingness to learn the 8 sanitation steps. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and 10 PTO days in the first year.

Qualifications

• English speaking preferred
• Previous related experience preferred
• GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred
• Able to work night shift; overtime and weekends as needed
• Learn and understand the three main areas of contamination

Responsibilities

• Maintains sanitary condition of equipment by disassembling equipment and cleaning to regulatory standards with a use of high pressure water @ 140 – 160 F; following proper chemical allocation and cleaning applications
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed
• Adhere to all break and lunch requirements for the position
• Learn and execute 8 steps of sanitizing equipment, work area, and other requirements for a quality operation
• Fulfill inspection requirement of equipment after sanitation process is complete
• Must understand the corrective action process
