Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist / Respiratory Tech (CRT/RT) for an urgent backfill in the Cherokee Nation, Oklahoma. The contract role supports neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in an acute-care setting, requiring quick independence and strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities include assessing respiratory status, administering therapies, operating Cerner charting, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Neonatal, pediatric, and adult care experience required.
• Pediatric experience is required.
• NBRC credential required.
• Active Oklahoma Respiratory License required.
• BLS – AHA required; ACLS, PALS, NRP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
• Assess respiratory status and monitor response to treatment.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other prescribed therapies.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory-care equipment.
• Assist with airway management and respiratory support as needed.
• Monitor acutely ill patients and communicate changes promptly.
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient response in Cerner.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and the clinical team.
• Follow respiratory-care, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols.
