Job summary

Methodist Health System is looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Frisco, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including oxygen and aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.

The RRT is expected to have strong clinical skills, provide care to patients of all ages, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The position requires relevant certifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months respiratory care experience.
• NRP and PALS certifications must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to care for patients of all age groups, sensitive to diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration and weaning.
• Conduct prescribed cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures including ABG analysis.
• Assemble, check, operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment.
