Job summary

Pivotal Health is seeking an experienced Sleep Technologist in Wilmington, NC to provide sleep services at Sleep Care of Wilmington. The role requires an RPSGT certification, an accredited Polysomnography program, and NC Medical Board licensure.

Must have BCLS/CPR and be able to travel or work on-site as needed. The position offers competitive hourly rates based on experience and will involve setting up equipment, collecting data, and scoring clinical events in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher education level.
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
• Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and NC Medical Board License.
• Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR.
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.

Responsibilities

• facilitating tests and collecting data
• preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
• following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
• analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
• required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control
