Job summary

HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care in the Women and Infant Services department. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to execute the nursing process and support patients, families, and friends through education and care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN is preferred. The department handles 36 hours per week on a night shift, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: multi-state RN license per compact rules may apply.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Promotes patient's independence by teaching patients and families to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills and answering questions.
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and state nursing regulations.
