Job summary

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our nights shift. You will coordinate and deliver safe patient care, guided by the nursing process, with emphasis on safety, infection control, and quality improvement.

Requires Florida RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred. Prior clinical experience preferred; CCRN/TNCC/PALS preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and Basic EKG preferred where applicable.
• BSN degree preferred; CCRN/TNCC/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in meetings and communicates information communicated at meetings.
• Adheres to hospital policy and procedure 100% of the time.
• Assists patients, family members, physicians, visitors and employees professionally.
• Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.
• Adheres to environmental care standards.
• Demonstrates ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.
