Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Unit Coordinator for 2 South-Telemetry / Med Surg. This full-time night shift position runs from 7 PM to 7 AM with rotating weekends on a 25-bed unit recognized for stroke care and magnet excellence.

The RN Unit Coordinator provides clinical leadership, drives safety/quality initiatives, and enhances workflow while supporting staff development and delivering high-quality cardiac and neuro patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required; MSN preferred.
• RN license active; BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 18 months of nursing experience; leadership abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and quality initiatives in the department.
• Improve workflow; support staff development and patient care quality.
• Provide clinical leadership on the 2 South-Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
