Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MG2 Telemetry unit on a 12-hour night shift. The role emphasizes direct and indirect patient care with a focus on safety, education, and teamwork in a telemetry setting.

You will participate in assessment, documentation, and coordination with the interprofessional team, ensuring adherence to infection control and quality standards while supporting patient education and family communication.

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License
• AHA BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assess learning needs and barriers; tailor education to age, culture, and spiritual values.
• Document admission assessments, reassessments, plans, interventions and medication use per policy.
• Utilize the information management system to improve communication and document patient condition changes.
• Communicate transfer of responsibility and pertinent information during rounds.
• Recognize and address patient needs; refer for abuse as appropriate.
• Incorporate pain management and supportive care into the plan of care.
• Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a safe, clean environment.
