Job summary

OhioHealth Surgical Unit 1 in Dublin, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to provide general nursing care across a 24/7/365 operation. The RN delegates to LPNs and UAPs and manages the full nursing process for assigned patients.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency within a high reliability organization. BSN is required after 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or good standing with a multi-state RN compact.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support, American Heart Association).
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis (30%): perform health status assessments for population/individual.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning (30%): document planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation (20%): evaluate and document response to interventions and revise plan of care as needed.
• Leadership (10%): participate in process improvement to improve clinical quality and efficiency.
• Operations (10%): perform other operational duties as required.
• High Reliability Organization: focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in job duties.
