Job summary

Baptist Downtown is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Tower 4B General Surgical Progressive Care Team in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time night shift position runs from 7p to 7a, offering opportunities to care for patients with surgical and medical needs.

The RN will provide patient education, collaborate with physicians, advocate for patients, and participate in unit activities while meeting BLS and RN licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse required.
• BSN preferred or equivalent nursing degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Serve as patient advocate and participant in unit activities.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement.
