Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse I for the Full Time Nights shift (7pm-7am), covering Surgery, Trauma, and Urology.

The role requires comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, patient assessment, planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The incumbent will participate in discharge planning and patient education while adhering to unit standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with a diploma or degree.
• Current multi-state or Oklahoma RN license.
• 0–6 months related nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses and organizes patient care considering age, culture and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process.
• Uses proper medical terminology in notes and care plans.
• Supports patient discharge with referrals and education.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to optimize care.
• Supports unit goals via PI and staff education activities.
• Exhibits independent judgment in routine decisions.
