Job summary

Osceola County Sheriff's Office in Kissimmee, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to supervise and provide general and specialized nursing care to inmate patients within the Correctional Facility.

The role includes coordinating medical operations, supervising staff, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards while maintaining compassionate care for the inmate population.

Qualifications

Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
At least two years of professional RN experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Florida RN license in good standing.
Current CPR certification from a recognized organization.
Valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise medical operations to support health care goals; coordinate with other departments as needed.
Schedule, supervise, evaluate staff; ensure shift coverage; complete payroll/time sheets.
Communicate plans, policies; organize workloads; train, motivate and evaluate staff; handle conflicts.
