Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) for the Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit. This full-time night-shift role leads daily nursing operations, ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborates with physicians and the care team.

Compensation ranges from $36.75 to $55.70 per hour with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Requirements include an active RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS on hire, and a minimum of two

Qualifications

• Active state RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required on hire.
• Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience, with supervisory exposure preferred.
• CCRN preferred for ICU; NRP required 90 days after hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations and supervise clinical staff.
• Ensure quality patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow and resource utilization.
• Coach, mentor, train and evaluate nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive quality improvement and operational excellence.
• Serve as unit leader in absence of Director or Nurse Manager.
• Provide direct patient care within RN scope as needed.
