Job summary

Henry Ford Health Rochester Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead the coordination and delivery of quality patient care in the HFRH Stepdown Unit. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, delegating and documenting as needed.

This night-shift role requires strong communication with patients, families and the care team, ensuring adherence to standards of care and patient goals.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Leads coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; delegate and supervise as needed.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the health care team clearly and timely.
• Identify variances from goals and participate in implementing corrective actions.
• Document care and teaching of patients and families for continuity of care.
