Job summary

Broward Health North is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to deliver professional bedside care according to physicians' treatment plans. You will assess patient needs, administer medications, provide treatments, monitor progress, and document observations to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, preparing instruments, and ensuring accurate reporting of reactions to medications and therapies, with emphasis on high-quality acute care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (ADN/BSN) with RN licensure.
• Two years of recent acute care experience if prior nursing school not recent.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care per physicians' plans to provide comfort and well-being.
• Assess patients' condition, administer prescribed drugs, and provide treatments.
• Observe and record progress, report drug/treatment reactions, and vital changes.
• Assist physicians with examinations and prepare instruments and equipment.
