Trinity Health MI in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7p–7:30a night shift on the Hauenstein 2 Stepdown unit. You will care for a diverse, complex patient population, perform advanced assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and ongoing professional development within a Magnet-designated facility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
• Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• Certs: BLS, ACLS (ACLS at time of hire or w/in 6 months)
• Experience as an RN required.

Responsibilities

• Care for complex medical-surgical, oncology, trauma, and sepsis stepdown patients.
• Perform advanced patient assessments and monitoring.
• Enhance critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Build expertise in managing step down patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and fellow nurses.
• Play a key role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
