Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks a Full-Time night shift nurse to apply the nursing process in planning and delivering patient care. You will educate patients and families, coordinate care with the health team, and support continuum of care planning on a 7:00pm–7:00am schedule across adult medical units.

On this unit, learn from a collaborative team, and participate in professional growth activities per nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
• LIC-Registered Nurse licensure required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care across the continuum.
• Analyzes information to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Evaluates progress and applies interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Promotes health and a safe environment for patients and families.
• Performs duties consistent with nursing standards and scope of practice.
