Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shifts at Methodist Richardson Medical Center in the Dallas area. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care across patient populations.

This role requires a Texas RN license, BLS certification, and at least 12 months of RN experience. The unit emphasizes teamwork, safety, and patient-centered education during a 7pm–7am, 12x3 schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Texas license to practice nursing or eligibility.
• 12 months RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes teamwork through effective communication.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient/family education.
• Communicates with team, coworkers, patients and families and ensures understanding.
• Creates and maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written patient information.
• Delivers safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
• Takes personal responsibility for performance and professional growth.
• Uses the nursing process to deliver quality care throughout the episode.
