Qualifications

• Current, active Missouri RN license.
• Graduation from an approved nursing program.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize nursing responsibilities and respond to changing resident needs.
• Commitment to resident-centered care, patient safety, and clinical quality.
• Previous SNF, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Prior nursing management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, resident-centered nursing care during the night shift in accordance with standards and scope of practice.
• Assess residents’ conditions and monitor health status.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Follow care plans and physician orders.
• Supervise and collaborate with CNAs and nursing team.
• Complete accurate, timely nursing assessments and documentation.
• Follow infection prevention procedures.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort and quality of life.
• Communicate resident information to the healthcare team as needed.
• Educate residents and families about care and health needs.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
