Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance appraisal of staff on applicable shift.
• Participates in hiring process and provides recommendations to Manager.
• Prepares documentation for disciplinary actions and recommends action.
• Provides recognition recommendations for outstanding performance on shift.
• Coordinates staff relief for meals, breaks, and meetings.
• Projects staffing needs for next two shifts and adjusts staffing levels as needed.
• Serves as clinical resource for all staff.
• Performs charge nurse duties and completes shift reports.
