Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an RN to provide individualized nursing care to residents, using the nursing process and collaborating with families and the care team. The role covers preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment across all phases of resident care.

The RN may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while ensuring safe, reliable care. A commitment to quality in a Christian environment is central to the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA favored).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs; multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care following the nursing process and collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care, assess residents, educate and implement nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel within scope and competence.
