Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN night shifts. You will follow infection prevention practices, ensure medication safety, and develop individualized care plans.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, perform ongoing assessments, document thoroughly, and promote excellent patient experiences through clear communication and hourly rounding. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and nursing competency; NRP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing with RN licensure
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and BLS required at Florida facility
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Follows infection prevention precautions and medication safety policies
• Develops and implements individualized care plans with measurable goals
• Performs follow‑up assessments and adjusts plans as needed
• Assesses diagnostic data and interdisciplinary notes
• Maintains patient care standards and regulatory compliance
• Ensures clear hand‑offs with the care team and accurate documentation
• Enhances patient experience through effective communication and hourly rounding
• Assists in staff management, assignments, and unit audits
