Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Resource Team/Float Pool at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) position offers a 36-hour work week with competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

The role requires an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois nursing licensure, and CPR certification. Responsibilities include patient assessments, care coordination, teaching, and quality-improvement participation.

Qualifications

Must have an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois required.
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
