Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rapid Response Team at ORMC. This full-time night position delivers advanced, time-sensitive care to patients with complex illnesses or injuries.

The role requires critical thinking, strong assessment skills, and the ability to collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Exceptional nursing leadership and patient advocacy are valued.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications are required for certain areas. NRP is required for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
3 year ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
Utilizes information and assessment data to anticipate and respond with confidence to changing patient conditions.
Identifies and prioritizes information to take decisive evidence-based action.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets cardiac rhythms and other displays.
Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
Documents patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and compliant manner.
