Job summary

Millwood Hospital, a UHS facility in Arlington, TX, is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift on the Adult Gerontology Unit. The RN coordinates and evaluates patient care with the health team, following the nursing process and standards of care.

Must have Texas RN licensure; BSN preferred. Shifts are 12 hours, 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, with weekends required. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and generous benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of three (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI training before working with patients.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse (RN) prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the health team.
• Attend orientation sessions as scheduled (Week 1 and Week 2).
• Maintain clinical standards and participate in daily patient care activities on the unit.
