Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC seeks a skilled RN for the 6 VP Progressive Care unit. You will plan, execute, and evaluate professional nursing care while serving as charge nurse as needed.

The role emphasizes patient assessment, coordination with the care team, and maintaining high-quality care in a 48-bed Progressive Care setting. The position requires an Associates degree in Nursing with NC RN licensure (or compact state).

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure.
• Must complete Clinical Ladder packet and be approved for RN II, RN III, RN IV

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and plan appropriate nursing care.
• Coordinate care and communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Act as charge nurse as assigned.
• Maintain accurate patient care records.
• Ensure safety and cost containment in patient services.
