Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License is mandatory.
• Must have BLS certification at hire and ACLS within 6 months.
• Clinical experience is a preferred qualification.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document data timely and accurately.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Manage Rapid Response and code events competently.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
