Job summary

Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN/per diem 12-hour night shifts. The role offers $50 per hour and includes comprehensive orientation, pathways for advancement, and benefits tied to hours worked.

You will work in a dynamic inpatient rehab setting addressing brain injuries, spinal injuries and other complex cases. The position requires a valid RN license, at least one year of RN experience, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license.
• At least one year of RN experience.
• BLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment data including labs and telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families during care.
• Assist with admissions and transfers.
