Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect care in the inpatient setting.
• Communicates with physicians, DON, Therapy Dept., and co-workers about changes in patient condition.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Performs nursing duties with appropriate supervision.
• Assists and collaborates with therapy staff to support rehabilitation goals.
• Maintains patient safety and documents care and teaching appropriately.

Education

Louisiana Registered Nurse Licensure

BCLS Certification

Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (preferred)
