Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 1:1 with a pediatric patient in home and school settings in Lake Bluff, IL. The role involves pediatric home health nursing, managing a 6-year-old with G‑tube, Trach, Vent, and a Sunday/Monday night schedule from 9:30pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state where you practice.
• Current Health Certificate as required by contract or state regulations.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Initiate and revise plan of care as patient needs change.
• Provide therapeutic, preventive and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• intervene when patient status changes and report to physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document results.
• Review care plans and coordinate education, goal setting and discharge planning.
