Job summary

North Okaloosa Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered, evidence-based care in the PCU on a PRN night shift (1800–0600). The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care in collaboration with the care team, physicians, and families.

The role includes administering medications, monitoring patients on telemetry and life‑support equipment, responding to emergencies, and participating in performance improvement and education.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required or compact state licensure.
• We require current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Minimum 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and deliver care per policy and physician orders.
• Perform accurate patient assessments and document findings.
