Job summary

The role requires current Florida RN licensure, two years of hospital experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications. NIHSS training can be pursued, and the RN is expected to educate peers, patients, and families

Qualifications

• Must hold active Florida RN license and meet state requirements.
• Minimum of two years RN experience in a hospital/acute setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred or required.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations.
• Role includes acting as an educator to peers, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care across physical, emotional, psychosocial, and cultural dimensions.
• Perform and document accurate assessments to establish and update the Standard of Care.
• Follow established objectives, standards, policies, and procedures in care delivery.
• Maintain current credentials and participate in ongoing education; ensure compliance with hospital standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
