Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care on the MedSurg floor in Florence. The role requires an Associate’s Degree, SC (or compact) RN licensure, and at least one year of RN experience.

Duties include nursing process execution, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The position features 36 hours per week, 7p–7a shifts, every other weekend, and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required, RN licensure in SC or compact state.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary staff for age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Delivers patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
