Job summary

McLeod Health in Florence, SC is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our care management team. You will manage shift duties, coordinate patient care, and uphold unit standards while supporting a safe, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing program background, at least 2 years of nursing experience, and will obtain Advanced Resuscitative Certification within 6 months of hire. BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, and RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Advanced Resuscitative Certification due within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care management duties with organized workflow and clear communication, including development, evaluation, performance improvement and staffing during shift.
• Ensure compliance with unit standards, policies and standards of care.
• Coordinate patient care activities for the assigned shift.
• Manage employee complaints to optimize the work environment.
• Assess patient needs based on history, exam, and diagnostic data; provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Pursue professional growth through education and hospital system initiatives.
• Foster compassionate, respectful care for patients, families and visitors; promote interdepartmental collaboration.
• Supervise use of health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
• Contribute to fiscal management of the unit.
• Utilize standard work related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators.
