Job summary

Kindred Hospital Paramount and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation with coordination of patient care among families and the interdisciplinary team.

You will participate in discharge planning, document care plans, and ensure safety and quality through adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate or diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the standard of nursing care and implements hospital policies.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates nursing care for patients.
• Assigns tasks based on patient needs and staff qualifications.
• Documents patient assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Administers medications according to the five rights.
• Participates in discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
