Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Skokie Hospital. The per diem night shift runs 7pm–7:30am with rotating weekends, and occasional overtime may apply.

The role requires IL RN licensure, NLN-accredited nursing education, BLS/CPR, and prior nursing experience (CNA acceptable for new grads). Compensation range is $36.00–$55.80 per hour, with a new minimum of $37.25 starting October.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• Prior nursing experience; CNA experience acceptable for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for patients on a specific unit.
• Use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
