Job summary

The Inova Alexandria Hospital Ortho Surgery Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to advance their career on the night shift, full time. This role offers a 12-hour night schedule (7pm–7am) with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• BLS from American Heart Association.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia as RN.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data to inform care.
• Forms individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
• Delivers patient- and family-centered care across the continuum.
• Advocates for patients' rights and coordinates with the healthcare team.
• Documents all patient care activities per standards and supports care transitions.
