Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Non-Invasive Cardiology unit on the Night Shift. You will provide patient-centered care, perform nursing assessments, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and ensure safe, evidence-based practices in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with timely documentation, patient education, and adherence to NYS regulations.

Qualifications

Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York (NYS RN license).
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Fluent written and spoken English language skills.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates foundation and understanding of quality and safety indicators and applies them in daily nursing practice.
Collects, assesses and documents patient healthcare data throughout shifts.
Engages patient/family and interdisciplinary team to plan and measure care outcomes.
Prioritizes care, documents assessments, and implements coordinated interventions.
Educates patients and families about health status and the care plan; documents learning outcomes.
Evaluates progress toward outcomes with the team and adapts plans as needed.
Contributes to unit activities to support a healing and safe care environment.
Ensures compliance with NYS Nurse Practice Act and regulatory requirements.
