Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk in Patchogue, NY, seeks a Clinical Coordinator for the Clinical ALERT program. The role is full-time, night shift, 7 pm–8 am, and focuses on reliable nursing care for high-acuity patients.

You will lead staffing, training, performance management, and ensure safe, evidence-based patient care. The position roles as a resource, mentor, and system-wide collaborator across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience.
• Demonstrates problem solving and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical operations for 24-hour shift coverage and patient care.
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to ensure safe, timely care.
• Lead Codes and Rapid Responses and prepare staff for emergencies.
• Provide ongoing staff education and participate in performance improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
