Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a registered nurse to deliver direct and indirect patient care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. You will document according to guidelines, support patient families, and contribute to a safe, effective care plan in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include graduation from nursing school, CA RN license, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification. Experience with stroke care is preferred; weekend/on-call expectations may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 Year clinical experience; new grads may qualify with program requirements.
• California RN license is REQUIRED.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider REQUIRED.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and patient/family.
• Document per department guidelines; ensure accurate charting.
• Act as preceptor/teacher to other nurses on unit processes.
• Assess needs, prioritize care, and ensure timely referrals as needed.
