Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse for the Neuro PCU to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN coordinates pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers and acts as an advocate to support an exceptional patient experience.

This full-time night shift runs 7pm to 7am with rotating weekends. You will assess patient condition at admission and during each shift, perform procedures as ordered, document care, and

Qualifications

• BLS required.
• RN license Texas or compact required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care.
