Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts in the Mother/Baby unit at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients, administer medications, educate families, and document care accurately.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds current RN licensure and BLS, with a preference for BSN and MSN degrees in the longer term.

Qualifications

• Per diem night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records patient condition changes.
• Assesses and updates nursing care plans with the care team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
