Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN to join the Mother/Baby Department Pool. The RN will provide patient care in a hospital setting, delegating tasks as needed and maintaining clinical standards.

Requirements include an RN license, 18+ months acute care RN experience, 1+ year Mother/Baby RN experience, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and BLS/NRP credentials. This pool position supports the BayCare network in South Florida with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• At least 18 months RN acute care experience
• At least 1 year RN Mother/Baby experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care providers to develop and assist in the plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others.
• Identifies patients at risk and prepares the room environment to ensure safety and comfort.
