Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby unit to perform patient care under the Nurse Manager/Director. The role supports care for women and newborns in a fast-paced setting with a 3-shift, 12-hour night schedule and rotating weekends.

Qualifications include BSN preferred, active RN license (compact acceptable), BLS, and NRP within 6 months. Specialty certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice and/or active compact license.
• BLS required; NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
• Professional certification in specialty practice area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director.
• Provide therapeutic and administrative services for patient care and support the hospital mission.
• Mother Baby unit cares for women of childbearing age and newborns.
• Provide compassionate couplet care in a dynamic, collaborative environment with complex cases and rewarding outcomes.
