Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for MedSurg/Telemetry in Laconia, NH. The role covers float-ploat responsibilities in acute care with 12-hour nights and a 17-week contract; schedule includes 36 hours per week and every-other-weekend shifts.

The nurse will monitor telemetry, manage cardiac drips (Cardizem and insulin), and administer Phenobarbital as ordered, while ensuring precise documentation and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care MedSurg/Telemetry experience.
• Advanced Telemetry experience required.
• Active, unencumbered NH or Compact RN license.
• Cardizem and insulin drip experience required.
• Phenobarbital experience on Telemetry.
• First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to MedSurg and Telemetry patients in the acute care float pool.
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms.
• Manage Cardizem and insulin drips for appropriate patients.
• Administer Phenobarbital as ordered.
• Provide safe, timely and accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
