Cottage Hospital is seeking Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in Woodsville, NH. Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or higher.
• ACLS certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Prioritize care for patients with varying acuity while recognizing changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient response.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
• Delegate appropriate responsibilities to LPNs and LNAs while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in emergencies and routine care.
• Maintain current clinical competencies through required education and continuing professional development.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of teamwork, safety, and excellence.
