Job summary

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a Registered Nurse (Med-Surg) for a 12-hour night shift in Woodsville, NH. The role delivers comprehensive nursing care within the RN scope and collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary health team.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, medication administration, patient education, and meticulous documentation. ACLS and BLS are required; RN license preferred. Opportunities for professional growth and cross-training abound.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licenses & Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
• Preferred: RN License.
• Experience in Med-Surg or acute care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Prioritize care for patients with varying levels of acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
• Delegate appropriate responsibilities to LPNs and LNAs while maintaining accountability.
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain current clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support teamwork.
