Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Grand Blanc, MI, seeks a registered nurse for the Medical Surgical unit to provide high-quality nursing care during nightly shifts (7pm–7:30am). The role emphasizes patient assessment, planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient responses to care plans, delivering education, coordinating with ancillary staff, and ensuring adherence to policies and standards of care. Full-time position with a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in specialty area will be considered.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• PALS, TNCC and ENPC within one year for Emergency Department.
• NRP within in one year for the OB Department.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each assigned patient, documents and evaluates their response to plan of care, and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care/standard of care and provides patient teaching using the plan of care/standard of care.
• Oversees all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.

ACLS within 6 months

NRP within 12 months
