Job summary

Grant Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse for Med Surg Trauma on the night shift. The role provides general nursing care to patients across the continuum of care and requires solid assessment, planning, and collaboration with the health care team.

Qualifications include current RN license in Ohio or a multi-state compact state, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred with 5 years of employment. This is a part-time night position in the Trauma Unit 2.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate and revise plan with multidisciplinary team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations: manage daily unit activities within the trauma team.
