Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN for Medical/Surgical Telemetry at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role involves caring for a patient group, delegating tasks, and maintaining professional accountability.

Nights, full-time, with opportunities to precept and serve as charge nurse as needed. Required: RN license, BLS, and at least 6 months RN experience; ACLS if department requires; a nursing degree (AS/ Diploma) is mandatory with a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN required with 6 months RN experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required.
• RN license is required.
• ACLS Certification, if required by department.
• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
